Upon our arrival at Istanbul International Airport, your guide will meet, assist and transfer you to the hotel. Istanbul’s original name is Byzantium then Constantinople. It is a most fascinating city, which actually crosses two continents Europe and Asia. It is a city of amalgamation of bazaars, minarets, mosques, churches, palaces, and restaurants catering to every one’s taste, museums, customs and twelve million people. Overnight in Istanbul.
(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included) After breakfast start your full day tour. Our first visit will be the first grand mosque which was built in the city proper is the Eyup Sultan Mosque (1458). Our tour starts vising Eyup sultan Mosque. Next to Eyup Sultan Mosque we will visit the tombs of the Sahabe, which is very famous in Turkey by being the first generation of Muslims, who had come as far as Istanbul and besieged the city. The small Sahabe Cemetery just outside Egrikapi Gate may seem like a standard Muslim cemetery. TOPKAPI PALACE.
It is the great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries, housing an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed.
After that, our next stop will be SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE. It is located across from St. Sophia and it built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. After that, we will see the ANCIENT HIPPODROME, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Visit to HAGIA SOPHIA GRAND MOSQUE: The Hagia Sophia, previously known as the Church of Divine Wisdom, is simply the best of its kind! Hagia Sophia is the greatest surviving example of Byzantine Architecture. For 1000 years it was once the largest church in the world, decorated with stunning 6th century golden mosaics.
Today it is a mosque. After the lunch break, Murtis Tour will take you to the GRAND SPICE BAZAAR that is a unique atmosphere with reasonable prices for your shopping. Here you will find; Exotic Spices and Herbs, Turkish Baklava, Turkish Delights, Turkish Coffee, nuts and fruits, small souvenirs such as Ceramic Handicrafts, Evil Eyes totems, all naturel olive oil, soaps and many other goods in Souvenir Shops and stores. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. Please Note: Topkapi Palace closed on Tuesdays. If your tour is on one of these days we would offer you to visit Underground Cistern instead of Topkapi palace museum.
(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included) After breakfast, we will first visit the historical Covered Bazaar and Ulucami (Grand) Mosque of Bursa, Climb to Uludag Mountain by cable car , (Which also known as Mount Olympus, from where the Greek gods watched Trojan war). After a lunch break, we continue with visits to Green Mosque and Green Mausoleum. Depart for Ertugrul Gazi - Sogut City Tour. Ottoman Empire was founded here in 1299, and Ertugrul Gazi, father of the founder of Ottoman Empire Osman Bey, passed away and buried here. We will visit THE TOMB OF ERTUGRUL GAZI. After that we will visit Bilecik Museum originally constructed as a courthouse on the land where a demolished Ottoman building once stood, this large and impressive structure was restored and opened as a museum in 2006. It exhibits both archaeological and ethnographic items in chronological order. Shaykh Edebali Tomb, which was attributed to Sheikh Edebali, who was considered by many to be the philosophic architect of the Ottoman Empire, was built during the time of Orhan Gazi.
It has a panoramic view on the cliffs. Orhan Ghazi Mosque built on the edge of a steep cliff, the mosque has the capacity to hold 365 worshipers at the same time. Believed to be built in the early 14th century and only 50 meters from the Edebali Mausoleum, Orhan Ghazi Mosque was restored in 1973. Unlike other mosques, which the minarets are traditionally adjacent to the mosque, the main minaret of Orhan Ghazi Mosque is built on a rock, 30 meters away from the main building. The Clock Tower is located at the centre of Bilecik province over a hill dominant to the city. The Watch Tower is four - sided, with one clock in each side and was constructed by Sultan II. Abdülhamit. Pelitozu Pond, which is covered with pine trees, is 7 kilometers away from the city centre. The pond, which has an area of 213.50 hectares, was created for irrigation purposes. It attracts great attention especially on weekends due to its ease of transportation and wide area after the tour transfer to Kusadası. Overnight in Kusadası.
(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included) After breakfast start your fully guided tour of Ephesus, one of the best preserved ancient sites in the world. In our Ephesus your you will also see the Temple of Artemis, Curates street, famous Roman baths, Celsius Library, Grand theatre. Lunch break around 13:00pm. After the lunch, we will visit a place which continues to perform one of the oldest arts of Turkey; a carpet weaving centre. After that we depart to Pamukkale. Dinner and Overnight in Pamukkale.
(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included) After breakfast start your full day tour. We depart for Pamukkale. Upon arrival to Pamukkale we will visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castle) and the ruins of Hierapolis, then walk around this natural phenomenon and have the option of lying in the waters of the natural springs. Lunch break in Turkish restaurant. After your tour continue to Antalya. Overnight in Antalya
(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included) After breakfast start your full day tour. We will visit Antalya old City (Kaleiçi ) Marina, Clock Tower, Hadrian & Gate, Broken Minaret, Hıdırlık Tower: Kaleici is a small historic part of Antalya’s modern city, also known as the Old City of Antalya. In history it was once the sprawling modern Roman town, then the Byzantine Empire, then Seljuks, and finally the Ottoman Turkish town. The Hadrian & Gate (or Hadrianus Gate or The Three Gates) is a triumphal arch which was built in the name of the Roman emperor Hadrian. Antalya & broken wonder is the Broken Minaret of the Korkut Mosque, which itself was built originally as a Roman temple in the 2nd century AD, and thus did not have a minaret at all. Hıdırlık Tower is a landmark tower of tawny stone in Antalya, Turkey, where Kaleiçi meets Karaalioglu Park.
It is believed to be built in Hellenistic era on a square plan and later turned into circular tower in 2nd century AD and was used as either a fortification or a lighthouse in the past. We have lunch break in Turkish Restaurant and then depart for Duden waterfalls. All the streams of the region aim at finding their way into the Mediterranean and they pour down the slopes of the Taurus, sometimes overland sometimes underground and reaching their destination, result in lovely waterfalls, of which there are more than twenty. After tour come back to hotel and rest of day is yours. Overnight in Antalya.
(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included) After breakfast start your full day tour. We drive to Konya. 2.5 hour later we have break for coffee and after some rest drive to Konya. Upon arrival we have lunch around 13:00 pm. and after lunch we will visit the imposing green - tiled Mausoleum of Mevlana, the mystic founder of the Sufi sect (Whirling Dervishes). After the Konya Mevlana tour drive to Cappadocia. Arrival to Cappadocia around 18:30 pm. and check into your hotel. If you wish to join our optional activity of Ballooning for tomorrow, please contact with your guide and register because it will take place early the next morning. Overnight in Cappadocia.
(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included) After breakfast start your full day tour. We will drive you to Ozkonak Underground City, one of the best preserved Underground cities in Cappadocia. Than visit to Uchisar Castle, the highest point of Cappadocia. After Uchisar, you visit Goreme Open Air Museum, the Heart of Cappadocia. Goreme Open Air Museum is famous for frescoes dating to 10th century describing the life of Jesus Christ and monks. Next stop is Cavusin, which is an abandoned village with old cave Greek houses. After Cavusin you go to the restaurant in Avanos to have lunch. After lunch, you visit a pottery work shop, to see how to make potteries.
Then you go to Love Valley. Love Valley Cappadocia is a hidden valley with scenic formations to say the least. Despite the resemblance to man hood, these amazing rock formations are far from man-made. After Love Valley you visit another workshop to see appadocian hand-woven carpets and kilims. Next stop is Devrent Valley, which is also called Imagination Valley, where you can see natural rock formations looking like animals. Then you head to a wine shop in Urgup for wine tasting. Last stop is Three Beauties, three beautiful fairy chimneys with their hats, which is the symbol of Cappadocia. This tour will end approximately at 18.00 and you will be returned back to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included) After breakfast depart to Ankara and on the way give a break time at Salt Lake for 15 minutes. After break time continue to Ankara so around of noon time you will reach Ankara. Visit to the capital of Turkey with visit Ataturk Museum at the Ataturk Mausoleum. (Ataturk is the founder of the modern Turkey). Visit to Haci Bayram Veli Mosque. After tour depart to Istanbul and check in. Overnight in Istanbul.
